Highly debated, most likely in asia but other locations as well. It"s difficult to determine when this happened because the bone structure of wolves and dogs are very similar. The idea is wolves are near human settlements and orphaned pups were left in a den. Humans would then raise the pups until they were aggressive. If that was the case they would be used for food and fur. Naturally tame wolves would have pass town traits and customs in accordance with natural selection.
