Lorch m109 office hours monday & wednesday 10:30-12 for our class. Ctools resources: syllabus, all lecture slides (prior to class), assignments all posted online, additional readings. Quiz questions will be amazingly similar to homework problems, encouragement to devote time to problem sets (5 total quizzes) Weekly assignments: problem sets using reasoning and models introduced in lectures, take them very seriously. Attendance is not compulsory for lecture nor discussion but strongly recommended. Discussion sessions are meant for you to check and discuss assignment work. Final exam is not cumulative, neither are the first two exams. Practice exams don"t indicate what will be tested, they are not outlines for studying, only an indication of the style and format of the real exam. Detailed outline of course is on syllabus on ctools, also includes reading guide. Market is a means of allocating resources, used a lot, prevalent resource allocation mechanism. Economics is how to allocate limited resources among many.
