Two kinds of strife exists on earth. The one is praised by her friends, the other found blameworthy. The one -- so harsh -- fosters evil war and the fray of battle. The gods keep livelihoods from men or else a man works one day out of the year. This is why zeus hid fire from man. Prometheus stole it back for man"s sake. Zeus ordered the gods to create a little something each to pour into the beautiful, curios pandora. Prometheus warned all to never accept a gift from the gods, but epimetheus did not heed warning. Epimetheus accepted the gift at first, but saw evil in it. The woman, pandora, removed the lid of a jar, scattering its contents, bringing grief and cares to men.
