Crime control model concerned with efficiency (factual guilty) Whereas due process model is concerned with accuracy and reliability. Legally guilty based on evidence beyond reasonable doubt. Many criticise practices by police, prosecutors or courts that are too harsh. Police target certain groups for arrest of racial-ethnic minority groups. Unsatisfying answer, in form of a tautology.
