Prosocial behaviour is behaviour that has a posiive impact on others. We have a need to ailiate a need to associate with humans. Interpersonal atracion: ainity to another person, basis for most relaionships. Familiarity: we are atracted to those who are familiar with us, our choice of lovers and friends are based on physical proximity, it promotes atracion by increasing the frequency of contact between people. Similarity: similar people are atracted to each other: its reinforcing to see that others believe the same as us. We tend to marry people exactly like us in looks, religion, status and homogamy. Physical atraciveness: halo efect is our tendency to generalize a favourable impression to unrelated personal characterisics, for example a hot person we assume is intelligent when they"re not. Reciprocity: when others respond to your acions, it can be the most important factor inluencing a relaionship.
