Etc: europeans don"t eat in their car while driving, diferent social contexts. Food and its related processes have a high impact on human health. The irst processed foods didn"t appear unil the 1950s (cheeze whiz in 1953). Before that most food was local and grocery stores were stafed with butchers who cut meat on sight. Food was juicier, more lavourful and the majority of it was produced locally and could only be bought in season. Now it"s not as lavourful or juicy and they can be produced all year round as they are produced from all over the globe. Furthermore, more processed foods and ready to eat meals are available as compared to the past due to the abundance of microwaves, etc. Most students in schools did not have cafeterias and brought lunches from home. However, schools gave certain companies pouring rights which sold certain brands of sot drinks in vending machines soon ater they were introduced.
