Mania: restless activity, excitement laughter confidence, rambling speech and loss of inhibitions. Lithium salts: element whose salts are often used for therapy for bipolar disorders. Seasonal affective disorder: depression that recurs during a particular season like winter. Schizophrenia: psychotic disorder; deteriorating ability to function in everyday life and has hallucinations, delusions, thought and movement disorder and inappropriate emotional expressions. Positive symptoms: behaviours that are present when they should be absent. Negative symptoms: behaviours that are absent that should be present (weak or absent emotion, speech, socialization)
