Estimating identification accuracy: target-present lineup: a lineup that contains the perpetrator, witness can identify guilty suspect which is correct identification. Identify innocent suspect which is false identification: false and foil identifications may be referred to as false positives. Identification decision implications: correct identification with target-present lineup is correct decision, correct rejection with target-absent lineup is correct decision.
