Even to such a straightforward question, christians have many answers. Many insist that the only fully reliable evidence of whom he was and what he means is found in the old testament a collection of letters, interpretive histories, prophecies and accounts of. These were put together from hundreds of similar documents written in the century after his death by the movement that evolved from his original followers. We know this today as the (cid:862)jesus movement(cid:863) a(cid:374)d e(cid:448)e(cid:374)tuall(cid:455) as (cid:862)the church(cid:863).
