Anesthetic depth: measured indirectly, respiratory rate and blood pressure; unreliable. A nesthetic awareness. surgical patients conscious during surgery (1/1000) Hear conversations, feel the pain, unable to tell bc paralysis. Bis): monitors (a) the type/percentage of brain waves (b) percentage of isoelectric analysis; quite effective.
