Human psychology is similar in many ways to that of other animals (important role of biology and evolution) We are a social animal (think in interesting ways, frontal cortex) we care about what other animals think about self. Explaining human mind & behavior, how social situations can influence. Research in social psychology has provided at least partial answers to such questions. Some answers don"t surprise us, but others are counterintuitive. The situation can often determine behavior despite individual differences. They can cause dramatic changes in our beliefs/behavior: nazi germany, 2004, during the war of iraq, cbs exposed american atrocities against iraqi prisoners.
