We find ourselves at a crossroads, there is maybe one way to turn this around. There"s not much you can say for the swedish model. Countries are losing their populations because they are not able to be replenished enough. We"re in a new phase of modern history. There has been a great decline, maybe 70 countries that are below replacement fertility. Replacement fertility is the number of child births per woman that is required to replace the existing population. In rich countries people are having fewer children. When fewer children born, there a larger amount of the elderly in the population - also known as an aging population. The reason the world has experienced a population explosion over the past century is because they finally stopped dying like flies, instead of breeding like rabbits. Certain populations without immigration enters difficult terrain. Sub-replacement fertility generation means the working population 15-64 is slowing, peaking and then declining.
