Dictates how the group operates this helps you adapt to the rules and procedures of the group. Identify the levels of influence among the group members and help explain how status is determined. Allow you to understand what kind of quality and quantity is expected of you from your group members. Helps you make decisions about how much time and energy should be devoted to your work when working with a certain group.
