Capgras syndrome: occurs due to injuries to brain or is accompanied w/ alzheimer"s, can fully recognize ppl at the intellectual level but not emotional, no familiarity response is triggered, thinks they are impostors, can lead to homicide. Ex. he is wearing glasses vs. he has been replaced by a robot. Hindbrain, midbrain, forebrain: brain divided into 3 structures, 1.
