He places man into a garden that he made called eden, which is filled with trees and vegetation for ada(cid:373) to eat. He (cid:374)a(cid:373)es the (cid:373)a(cid:374) ada(cid:373) a(cid:374)d (cid:272)reates a (cid:449)o(cid:373)a(cid:374), e(cid:448)e, (cid:373)ade fro(cid:373) ada(cid:373)"s ri(cid:271), to part(cid:374)er hi(cid:373) a(cid:374)d populate the (cid:449)orld. God"s pri(cid:373)e i(cid:374)stru(cid:272)tio(cid:374) for ada(cid:373) a(cid:374)d e(cid:448)e is to (cid:374)ot eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge and the tree of life. A serpent however deceives eve and convinces her to eat the forbidden fruit, which she in turn convinces adam to eat. God finds out and kicks them out of the garden. Adam and eve go on to have two sons named cain and abel, with abel pleasing god and cain falling short. Cain gets jealous of his brother and murders him, thus getting cursed by god.
