Control systems to manage strategic intent: managerial evaluation & control process used to determine success of comp to meet goals (includes financial management systems, ratios) Mechanisms for effective talent management: decision making hierarchy, span of control, allocation of power. Operational processes and market support and alignment (value chain: processes/ initiatives needed to support product transformation, creation of value prop, and distribution, sales, and service supporting these products. Each of these qs influences the others in terms of framework & consequences. Relates to formal framework around which tasks are organized/ responsibilities are allocated within an organization. Design based on customer touch points & requires ongoing monitoring as market/comp itself changes, must drive efficiency/effectiveness to be competitive. Types of structures structure for comp will change over time as conditions change.
