Document Summary

Posted article intrinsic inclinations: explaining gender and sexual diversity. Gender expression: refers to whether our presentation, behaviours, interests and or affinities are considered feminine, masculine or some combination thereof. Unlike sexual orientation or subconscious sex gender expression is widely visible to others and so it"s the most commonly commented on phenomenon. Femininity and masculinity do not happen naturally instead they are social constructs that we are taught since birth to create a heteronormative society: gender roles are a huge way in which these social constructs are meant. Males and females are pre-programed to be masculine and feminine and women and men are genetically programed to do different tasks. Author believes that both opinions are wrong. Men and women are highly encouraged to be more masculine and feminine based on their gender yes however there are things that men do better then women and so forth based on their genetics and their body structures.
