Hallucinations : imaginary voices that make critical comments or tell the patient what to do. Inappropriate affect: don"t react appropriate to pos/neg events. Disorganized speech or thought: illogical thinking, weird association b/w ideas, believing in the supernatural. Odd behaviour: can"t perform everyday tasks as well as they used to, lack of hygiene, rhyming. Catatonia: remain motionless awkward positions for long periods. These symptoms need to occur for 1 month for sufficient diagnosis of schizophrenia.
