It"s not what you know, but rather who you know that matters. this has become the common mantra being uttered among university graduates to others in recent times. It is both an expression of frustration as well as a form of subtle advice for those of us still in school. It is their way of advising us to get involved in activities in order to make connections with the people that can help us, be it in mental growth or through much needed connections in the future. Aeisac ryerson recently hosted an information seminar at trs-2119 on november 4th that was hosted by samantha and its ryerson executive council. Aeisac includes programs like the ryerson passport program that enables to students to become global leaders through interacting and working with people on a global scale. They help get settled in and integrate to canadian society by finding them housing, opening a bank account, etc.
