Good theories are logical and structured, they help support your conclusion. Should have statements that can be tested so the theory can be accepted/rejected based on evidence. Good theories are parsimonious that if two theories are equally likely the simplest one should (cid:271)e prefered si(cid:374)(cid:272)e it(cid:859)s also testa(cid:271)le. Theories that are commonly used have been tested successfully. With new dna testings and brain scanning tech have challenged past theories rational choice theory and lifestyle exposure theory.
