Windows remote application uses rdp (remote desktop protocol). Streaming voices and video uses rtp (real-time transport protocol) with multicast distribution. Distinguish between the client-server and peer-to-peer models used to control access to a network. Peer to peer model for controlling access to a network allows every computer to share resources directly with every other computer. (all computer has the same authority but they can manage what they want to share or not).
