Organizational arrangements is where a company was to outline who was responsible for which aspects of health and safety. In addition to the legal duties set out by the irs, need to have workplace specific responsibilities for safety that are clearly set out. Types of work in an organization: managerial work refers to decision-making and influence, operative work has to do with the production and distribution of utility. Line operative work involves production and distribution of primary utility (assembling a product, counselling a client, etc. ) Staff operative work is support activity for the line operative work. Organizational structure: organizational structure: the hierarchical pattern of authority, responsibility, and accountability relationships designed to provide coordination of the work of the organization.
