Horatio is showing his trustworthy qualities by agreeing to help hamlet in the search for his father"s murderer, claudius. He explains his course of action and promises to keep a close eye on him. Unlike hamlet"s other friends, rosencrantz and guildenstern, horatio is loyal and trustworthy.
