Emoions: physiological, behavioral, and psychological episodes (brief, in waves and + or -) experienced towards an object, person, or event that create a state of readiness. Subtle and low intensity that inluence our behavior without conscious awareness. Mood: not directed towards anything in paricular and tend to be long term emoional states. Emoions have an associated valence (core afect) signalling that the perceived object or event should be approached/avoided. Some are subtle but acivate enough to make us more aware. Aitudes: cluster of beliefs, assessed feelings, and behavioral intenions toward a person, object or event (aitude object). Aitudes are judgements that involve evaluaions of the aitude object that we are aware of. Based mainly on raional logic, usually stable for days and longer.
