Not conceived naturally b/w male & female sheep but was instead cloned from single mammary cell from mother. Cell treated as test-tube lamb & implanted in mother"s womb. Experiment - major medical breakthrough b/c researchers able to create new indiv from another one w/o benefit of egg & sperm, but rather b/c they used cell that was already differentiated. When egg & sperm of any species fuse, they create single cell & at that stage & for first few divisions, each cell capable of performing every function in body.
