The study of the causes and consequences of sociality. It is a strategy used by just about every animal in order for them to get their resources. A principle stating that animals aggress when their goal is thwarted. Evidence suggest that anything that makes animals feel bad should increase aggression. Only 4 animals have been ultra social (form societies in which large numbers of individuals divide labour and cooperate for mutual benefit): ants, bees, wasps, termites, naked mole rats, and us! Culture and aggression: men in the south us are more likely to react aggressively because they are taught to react that way when their status has been challenged. Behaviour by two or more individuals that leads to mutual benefit: risk and trust when cooperating. (e. g. , the prisoners dilemma game, people will pay to punish someone who has treated them unfairly. A positive or negative evaluation towards another person based on their group membership.
