Learning is a relatively permanent change in behaviour that results from some type of experience. Two fundamental forms of learning: classical and operant conditioning. Classical pavlovian the process by which certain inborn behaviours come to be elicited in new circumstances; reflexive or involuntary: bell: food salvation, bell salvation. Operant skinner the strengthening or weakening of a behaviour as a result of its consequences; goal directed or voluntary: lever press foot pellet, future effect: likelihood of level pressing increases.
