What is poverty: poverty has no single official or universally accepted definition; every country has a different view of poverty, and even within the same country, people"s view of poverty changes over time. Canadians are more worse off then others: mbm defines poverty in absolute terms by estimating whether a person"s income is adequate to buy basic goods and services.
