Sexual fantasy: almost any mental imagery that is sexually arousing or erotic to the individual. Range from a brief, erotic mental picture lasting a few seconds to a lengthy, highly explicit scenario. Study at university of new brunswick: students experienced positive feelings more often than negative ones because of sexual fantasies. Study of 178 students and staff revealed that they mainly believe that sexual fantasies are common, moral, socially acceptable and more beneficial than harmful. Canadian men reported thinking about sex more than women. Compas poll: younger and university-educated thought about sex more than those who are older and haven"t completed high school. Study at university of new brunswick: heterosexual males and females have similar sexual fantasies. Fantasies consisted of having intercourse with loved partners, kissing passionately, having sex in other places besides the bedroom and etc. Men enjoyed fantasies reflecting themes of anonymous or impersonal sex. Women enjoyed fantasies that were described as romantic.
