In its broadest sense, content is something of value and can be considered an asset just like other items of property. Closely related to intellectual property, which is a form of created endeavor, protected by a patent. It is important to present content in a good way. A challenge in data is the process of organizing it and storing it. Content management focuses on how to eiciently and efecively store data. Management of many diferent types of content has been handled through organizaion database management systems (dbmss), which are central to the management of content data. Presentaion of content in organizaions today is handled by a series of steps that are supported by sotware. Content management systems (cmss) have been developed to help companies present content. The purpose of a database is to keep track of things that involve more than one theme. A database is a self describing collecion of integrated records.
