Chapter 3 - Approach  Imagine that the beginning of the baseball season, track and field season, and other spring/summer sports are only weeks away. Time flies by and the season is at its mid- point and playoffs are within sight. What does this mean for the athlete's approach to competition, regardless if it is off-season, mid-season, or play-offs, and why is it important? o Approach is critical because contributes to or limits how successful athlete will be.
