Concept of crime prevention involves education, training, public relations, and the development of strategies to prevent criminal acts. Goal of prevention is to prevent people from being a victim of a crime and to protect property. Concept of crime prevention holds that measures can be taken where people can prevent becoming victims. Government and private sector have been involved in crime prevention.
