Document Summary
Given a bunch of mental tasks and there was a positive correlation between these mental task and from that he concluded that there is a g which is general intelligence. His work inspired unidimensional approach to conceptualize intelligence. Iq is a measure to of unidimensional approach. Thirstone multidimensional approach- he noticed using factor analysis. That some tasks were closer to other tasks so he grouped them. So he said there are different types of intelligence. You can be good on o(cid:374)e type a(cid:374)d (cid:374)ot good o(cid:374) the other type. Outli(cid:374)e 7 types of i(cid:374)tellige(cid:374)(cid:272)e. we (cid:272)a(cid:374) talk a(cid:271)out ter(cid:374)(cid:271)erg"s theory and also crystallized and such intelligence. Not that one is right and one is wrong. Color begins to fade as more complexity so saturation decreases. Rod and cones are photoreceptors and cilia in auditory sensation are sound receptors. Rods and cones are found in retina whereas cilia is found in basilar membrane.
