Difficulty perceiving facial expressions and reading others" states of mind. Overall, given supportive environment and medication, over 40% will have periods of a year or more of normal life. Positive symptoms hallucinations, talk in disorganized/deluded ways, inappropriate laughter, tears, rage: presence of inappropriate behaviour. Negative symptoms toneless voice, expressionless face, mute, rigid bodies: absence of appropriate behaviour.
