The transportation system is one of the most important parts of tourism because if you cant transport people to a place, there"s no point of any of the other tourism commodities. The modes of travel are a special part of the experience too, tourists will want to use methods of transportation that are unavailable to them at home. E. g. scooters in rome, camels in egypt, double decker buses in england. Transportation used to be a mission but then with the invention of the steam engine, it got much easier, safer, and more accessible to all types of people. Ships and trains were the first to get the steam engine. Cost: obvious- basically you need to know what methods of transportation you can afford and what you cant afford. Service: quality of service, how the employees on a certain transportation service treat you. Time: different transportation methods take different amounts of time.
