In western capitalistic cultures, sex, differences, and conquest sell: people are more interested, presentations and sales go up, gender union ways in which sexes are similar, no mystery, no challenge, no threat. Same communication features do not perform the same for all speakers: depends on social status, assumption of presumed differences creates conflicts, inequalities, false expectations, disappointments. A critical vocabulary or a new lens prescription. Intersectionality: gender is not a separate part of identity but is related to all other parts of a person"s identity. Identity is multiplicative, not additive: each identity element is linked to each other. Sex is as much a cultural creation as gender: bodies have no meaning separate from the meaning language gives them. Sec and gender range actually reflects across a spectrum: male and female at the end of the two poles with intersex conditions in between.
