Early adult or little professor: begin to explore themselves and their environments. Processes information on a preverbal level and makes decisions based on it. Early parent: formed by early perceptions of parental behaviours and feelings before the development of language. Free child/natural child: the part of the personality that is curious, spontaneous, open, and fun. Adapted child: may appear pouty, sad, or display an innocence marked by an impassive and motionless posture; can be placating or rebellious.
