Moving through the organization, certain people require different information: the ceo of the whole company will only be interested in analytical information, as he just wants to have a general idea of how the company is working and what changes may be necessary, the lower managers will be more interested in transactional data, such as customers purchasing trends, in order to understand better ways to manage their store and boost sales. The most common types of ai include: expert system: imitates the minds of experts when faced with decisions to respond similarly and make the decision, neural network: tries to emulate the human brain (ie. needing to breath to live), genetic algorithm: transform information into biological information, get the result, and then it applies a solution to discover a better solution, intelligent agent: special purpose knowledge based information system that accomplishes specific tasks on behalf of its users.
