Neuron = nerve cell (basic building block of the nervous system) Sensory neurons = carry messages from issues/sensory organs inwards to the brain/spinal cord. Acion potenial = neural impulse (brief electrical charge that travels down an axon) Resing potenial = (+)ve outside/(-)ve inside state of neuron"s pm. All-or-none response = increasing level of simulaion doesn"t mean ++intense neural intensity. Synapse = juncion between the axon ip of sending neuron and dendrite/cell body of receiving neuron.
