Ch 8 process by which children come to take on specific gender roles is referred to as gender typing. William james (1890) self has two contrasting sides. Linked to aggression, antisocial behaviour, and risk for depression: target sources of low self-esteem with social tools i. e eliminate low self-esteem, but not worry abt raising general self-esteem.
