Yet, we can still use these words because we are not a restrictive society. It is not easy talking about our genitals / sex organs. We use these words to make it less intimidating / less embarrassing. The words that we have for our genitals convey meaning. This meaning teaches us how to think and what to feel about our genitals. E. g. : sometimes genitals will have more of an immature meaning (i. e. E. g. : if you are with your partner and use anatomically correct terms, it is not in the right context. E. g. : using slang terms when discussing with your doctor.
