We live in an era of what is known as open science but it is more noteworthy that science policies have embraced an open infatuation with open science. 2000s with rumours calling it as science 2. 0 then renaming it as an open science following a series of popular books, government, policies and articles from all institutes and think tanks even awards. Previously it was sought a mission in europe to have all scientific articles freely accessible by 2020. We know for a fact that change is something that is inevitable and indicate that once scientists are part of the information revolution, science will become more open and entire humanity will benefit. However, the layers that surround open science are quite vast themselves and hard to disentangle. Open science can signify a variety of things depending on different individuals.
