Different societal structures: hunter/ gatherers (shamanic): own what they can pack up & take with them. Small scale societies; smallest society 10-15 people related by marriage or blood. Migrate; follow animals & plant growth (resources) every 4-6 weeks. Yearly gatherings & celebrations of each small society. Not a single divine being & no hierarchy, equal spirits, human and non human. Belief in spirits, everything is unique, so they don"t call on the "spirit of the elk", they call to all and ask for 1 to reply. Shaman: bridge btw human & non-human world. All shamanic religion are very different: what is considered living/ not living is a base for what has a spirit (active spirit, knowing language and culture. Contain utilitarian belief: everything must have use & utilized; all things equal but some more value than others. Everything equal & balance of the universe.
