Standardized interviews assume that researchers can minimize or eliminate bias by making everything in the interview uniform. If you standardize the stimulus, the variations in answers represent a true measure of what you are investigating. Same sets of questions that interviewer reads in the same way and same order. Questions are close-ended or forced-choice questions; respondent must choose his or her responses from a list of answers provided by the interviewer.
