Organizations are having to move faster than ever. Incremental change - represents a series of progressions that maintain the organization equilibrium and often affect only one part of the organization. Radical change - breaks the frame of reference for the organization and transforms the entire organization (i. e. shifting from vertical to horizontal structure) Product/service change - changing these things from adaptions to whole new product lines. Strategy and structure change - can include management, strategy, labour, compensation, control systems, etc. Culture change - can include values, attitudes, experiences, beliefs, etc. Technology change - changes in production including knowledge, skill, etc. These types of change are usually interdependent and one cannot be changed without others. Organizational change - considered the adoption of a new idea or behaviour by an organization. Organizational innovation - adoption of an idea of behaviour that is new to the organizations industry or market. Bottom up innovation - ideas starting from lower/middle employees.
