Doctors in many diferent countries are adoping the same technologies and placing similar economic pressures on their health care systems. As populaions have aged around the world, health care systems have had to shit more toward treaing chronic degeneraive diseases rather than treaing acute diseases. Globalizaion of knowledge has increased people"s expectaions regarding health and health care. This shit has forced health care systems to pay greater atenion to paient saisfacion and choice. Equity in access: the ability to obtain health care services on the basis of need rather than ability to pay or any other characterisic.
