Haiti is being targeted by the united states. Poverty in haiti is the result of slavery and its aftermath. The residents only has some access to their own land. He would only go to mild agrarian and educational reforms an the appointment of presidential commission to investigate extra-judicial killings of the previous five years. During a military attempt to dismantle the lavalas networks in the slums, around 5000. Lavalas supporters were killed, churches and community organizations were invaded, preachers and leaders were murdered.
