Pathogen evolution: bacteria have advantage of reproducing within minutes, antibiotic resistance, viruses are another problem because they are moving targets, viruses are able to mix genomes ex: spanish flu. Design flaws: too many teeth, vas deferens loops up and over the ureter. Social impact: robert chambers, bishop wilberforce, herbert spencer: interested in people and society coined the term survival of the fittest . Science & religion: can science and religion coexist, religions are based on revelation and faith.
