The canadian constitution act of 1982 = recognizes three distinct groups of aboriginal people: first nations (cid:396)efe(cid:396)s to all those people (cid:272)alled (cid:862)i(cid:374)dia(cid:374)(cid:863) Make up over 60% of aboriginal canadians. There are 633 first nations bands (represents 52 nations/cultural groups) and more than 60 languages. Each nation has its own history, spirituality, and traditional political structure.
