The changes happen at different rates in different individuals which may have an influence in o(cid:374)e"s later life such as personal health, functional capacity, interaction with others, daily lifestyles and quality of life. Although aging is not a disease itself, there are other disease such as pa(cid:396)ki(cid:374)so(cid:374)"s that occur more often in older adults. Cumulative effects of prior diseases also impact old age. Healthy life style choices can slow the process of aging such as physical activity an healthy diets. Genetic & environmental factors such as low socioeconomic status and inadequate housing van speed up the process of aging. As a result aging is seen as a process influence by both individual choices and external constraints.
